I am calling it... There was a definite earthquake. I am in downtown OKC, and I was on the phone with a girl off of Memorial Rd. I told her I thought we were having an earthquake and she said that's funny.... I swear my chair just moved on it's own.
Who else felt it?
Re: Earthquake!
Yup - felt in Norman and Tulsa as well.
My buds in Norman said that there were three loud booms too - I think Norman got it pretty bad, actually.
My chair moved from my desk to the opposite side of my office - freaking sh!t!!
I'm at work in Norman, and we felt it--pretty good shake, too. Stuff on my desk was movin' around. Took us all a minute to realize what it actually was!
It was a 4.5
Epicenter 6 miles from Norman (some reports saying south of Norman, some saying east).
Big time stuff on beautiful Wednesday afternoon!

I heard and felt it in my classroom. If we hadn't been taking standardized tests, I might not have noticed it. The fan swung and clicked a little, and my desk shook for awhile. I could hear the low, distant rumbling sound.
Creepy but kind of cool! I've never felt one
I didn't feel it, but everyone around me did. I was in the truck, which is bumpy as hell anyway.
Hoping nothing at home fell off the walls!
my bookshelf!

DUDE! I didn't feel it, either! I'm glad I'm not the only one who apparently missed out on it. Sheesh.
I didn't feel it either. I'm north of Edmond. Some of the ladies in my office felt it, though.
I'm kinda sad I missed it.

Apparently, they upgraded it to a 5.1! And it was reported to be felt in parts of Tennessee, Kansas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas!
