Why is it that people constantly feel the need to air their dirty laundry all over FB? I seriously do not understand it...I just don't get it!
This is going on between my cousin-in-law and her boyfriend...
Cousin - "f*ck this. beyond pissed"
BF - "you wanted to know so I told you"
Cousin - "i dont deserve this. at all. im doing everything for you. and i get this? no!"
BF - "im sorry that im thoughtful. im sorry for everything in which deem as i am doing wrong."
Cousin - "im doing everything i can to prove i love you and your going to publically say its no enough cause your still doubtfull. awesome!"
BF - "omg it is enough! can you call me please?"
OK, these posts were within minutes of each other. Why not just pick up the phone and verbally talk about it instead of posting it online for all of your FB friends to see? I thik this generation thinks it's normal - they don't know any other life then constant internet and FB access. This cousin-in-law is the same one who posted within minutes of her Nana passing away on FB when the rest of family hadn't even heard yet! That's how I found out, but come on now...really!
I don't understand. >:{
Re: seriously?
She definitely is an attention seeker in any way possible...always has to be the certer of attention. I guess this just plays into that too!
She didn't come to our wedding which didn't bother DH or I since we knew she most likely would cause some type of stunt to direct the attention off of us onto her!
Blog
Some people I unfriend. Some people I just hide from my feed, so if I'm ever feeling down on myself I can go look at their FB and feel better about my own life.
MIL is this to a T. No lie. She posted something on her status the night about how she's so thankful for certain family and that others just jumped ship when she needed them. Thanks for helping me Granny, matt, and ashley. / (It was something along those lines)
Jeremy hit the roof and wanted to say something and I told him if he did then he better call her. He did and she was so passive it was ridiculous and then she started a text war with him. Sorry MIL for paying rent and car payment over YOUR rent, again. I work hard to pay your bills, not mine. /rant.
Ha ha. Yes! Meeeee too. Evil as it may be.
I cringe a little for these people when I see stuff like this. Do you really want all 675 friends that you've serial collected to see all this sh!t? Really? Get a frickin' blog or something if you need an emotional outlet.
Yeah, and it's always the people that have a billion friends that they don't even know. Their business is OUT THERE.
Sidenote: the quote-within-a-quote on TN is a bit obnoxious.
To me, FB is a place to just say what you're doing, to opine on something in the news, to provide commentary on what you're seeing, to showcase wit, to poke fun at yourself, etc. etc.
It is not a place to be pathetic, passive aggressive, or too personal. But people who court drama court drama everywhere - social media included.
A text war, really - wow! Boo on her!
