My dog-brother is having surgery tomorrow
For bladder stones. He had blood in his urine and his eyes would water when he peed. He is the baby of the family (my parents' dog. I am an only child and was quickly replaced by this little furball). Poor little boy!

I know exactly what you mean about being "replaced". After I went off to college my parents got major empty nest syndrome and I was "replaced" with 3 golden retrievers!
I also was replaced. I have a Chihuahua-sister.
