I did buy a 2nd dress too...
If you wanna see it. You know you do
This is the one I'll wear on the more formal Captain's dinner night.
I wish I could find it in the right COLOR tho! It's in an ombre blue. Its the same royal blue up top as my other dress but it fades in the middle to turquoise then back to blue at the bottom. Its an "X" back and has a small kick train. Its an awesome fit.

Its a satin material but its wrinkled at the bottom - do I have it professionally pressed or jut iron myself this weekend?
What say my Nesties?

Very pretty!
if you try to iron it yourself, I would turn the dress inside out and use a cooler setting on the iron.
pretty!!
do you have a steamer at all? i've used my handheld one on a bridesmaid dress before

Just be careful packing it for the cruise so it won't wrinkle again.
Maybe you could skip ironing it yourself and just have it done on the ship?
I was just reading that in the laundry services section. How bad do you think a pressing will be? It can't be too bad, right?
The other dress is chiffon so I'm not as worried about it as much as the satin.

Hey, let's take a poll. I'm going to guess it will be between $14-$16.
It shouldn't be too terrible. It varies by line/ship. You could ask over on CruiseCritic and have an answer really fast. Honestly, that's what I would do. Then you won't have to worry about it so much packing it. A lot of people do just that. You have to make sure you get it to your steward 2 days before you need it, I think.
Yeah, I was heading over to Cruise Critic to ask a few Q's that I'm thinking of too
Do you know how early you can park? We're going to be in the area the night before so we're only a few miles from the port. We don't leave until 4PM but it says 12:30pm is "Embarkation". I definitely would like to be inside the parking deck this time. Our 1st cruise we ended up parked outside in the FL heat - my poor truck was just HOT when we got back!

I'm of no help on this one. We've only flown & did hotel transport. It probably depends on the port, but I would guess that you could park as early as you wanted. I'd try to time it to get there as early as possible and snake a spot from somebody leaving. 12:30 does seem rather late for an embarkation time. I bet you can board earlier and they just say that in case disembarkation takes longer.
