Some Craziness
So, on Saturday one of the servers tells me that one of our ex-co-worker's husband was shot in the head and was lifeflighted.But did not make it.
This ex co-worker (K)is a year younger than me, and we worked graveyard together for about a year so we got to know each other pretty well. She had a little boy and then met her husband. They got married pretty quick, and had a little girl together, she turned a year old in August.
Her husband (J) had been deployed back in May. She tried to kill herself twice, the second being recently, so he was on emergency medical leave to come be with her. Now, the entire time I have known them they drink together, a lot, and she has a tendency of blacking out. There is also a, I'll say assumed, history of him beating her. She would come to work with a bunch of bruises--the last time I saw her they were on her neck and arms.
Well, word is that either he killed himself or she killed him. They were both sent to the hospital that night, she has bruised ribs.... so either she got fed up and shot him or he killed himself... but we won't know for a while, they are not releasing any information yet, and there is not obituary yet because his body is government property. I know most of this because someone I know knows J's mother.

Dizzamn. You always have the craziest stories. Sad story, but the way it sounded something bad was bound to happen. I feel so bad for the babies!
BTW, I would never be able to shoot someone in the head. Even in self defense. One, I'm too much of a chicken sh!t, and two, I don't think I have the aiming abilities. I've only shot a round with a handgun once, and I think I had one bullet hit the target, just barely.
Lol, as I was writing this I was thinking to myself "these girls are going to think I make this stuff up".
I feel bad for the kids too... the son's dad is kinda, lame. Who knows what will happen to them, and it sucks that they may not end up together.
They haven't been told whether he shot himself or if she shot him. The shot was in his temple area so it could be either or.
I don't think I could shot someone at all, especially in the head.
I just wanted to clarify that I don't think I could shoot someone at all either. I realize my post made it sound like I would have no issues shooting someone in the stomach or something.

This is making me crack up, and I feel guilty because this post is not laughable. I'm sorry for the kids and his family. I can't really imagine that happening to anyone I know. I'm not sure what I'd do.
