I'm going a little crazy waiting for my pro pics. It's only been 2.5 weeks, but I'm itching for a sneak peak at least! Is anyone else going through the same thing?

Same here. We did get a sneak peek, but it's been over a month and he told me that we'd get them last week. I'm really trying to be patient but it's hard.

I'm the same way. I did e-mail and ask her last week if she knew when they might be ready and she said they're done in 4-6 weeks so I still have 2-4 weeks to go and no sneak peeks yet either. I just want a couple teasers to hold me over...

we were fortunate and got everything already (jhopefully prints will be here soon!)

however a friend of mine who was married a full month before us is STILL waiting! she spoke to the photographer yesterday and they said they were so busy with editing, but that they should have the pictures "soon." i would be livid.

At 2.5 weeks, I was feeling the same way. Our photog told us at the wedding, "Give me a couple of weeks to get the photos back to you..." So at two weeks, I was yelling at H, "It's been a couple of weeks! Where are our pictures?!?" We ended up getting them at about 3 weeks. It was such torture waiting, though, it felt like 3 months. Hopefully yours will get to you SOON.

Yes - I'm totally going through the same exact thing. I emailed her when we got back from our honeymoon and she told me 4-6 weeks. So I wrote on my calendar November 1st...hopefully they will be done by then! I keep stalking her FB, blog and website because I'm nervous they didn't turn out ok. I'm really concerned. I just hope we got all the pictures we wanted and that they look good. Fingers crossed!

The waiting is killing me! I am also stalking his website. Would it be too much to wait for him outside his house and ask if they're ready yet?

I'm glad our photog had written into the contract that they would take 6-8 weeks. They'll be a welcome surprise when we get back from our honeymoon.

Be thankful we all have (we think) reliable photographers...a friend of mine got married 3 years ago - and the vendor she went through (a business that contracted out to freelancers) stopped paying their photographers...NJ AG got involved and everything. She had to stalk the fed ex truck outside the vendor's office to get even the second shooter's pics. She was a mess. Moral of the story - at least we'll all end up with pictures!

Our contract clearly stated 6-8 weeks.
Then after the wedding I asked the photog how long and he said probably only 4 weeks since he was starting to get caught up on all of his pictures. We were so happy with that response!

2 days after the wedding we got our first teaser, posted on FB.
7 days after the wedding we got our second teaser, posted on FB.
8 days after the wedding we got an email from him asking to confirm our physical addy b/c they were ready to ship out to us!!!
10 days after the wedding we had our 2 CDs of every picture he took, 200 print 4x6 album, and 2 8x10 pics - it was amazingly fast! His wife (our DJ/violinist) and I had become friends through email and phone conversations; they even had their first date at the restaurante which in the hotel we had our reception at. They liked us enough, our venue enough, and our story enough that when they got home they started working on our pictures instead of waiting. It was really sweet and I still keep in touch with her through FB - it totally worked out in our favor!

We finally got to see our pro pics (digital proofs, which are annoying because each pic is marked with the word "proof" across it) on the photographer's website two weeks ago, which was almost 4 weeks after the wedding, but he told us ahead of time that it would take that long because he had photographed four weddings in a two-week period. I really wasn't that impressed with them; some of my guests took better pics! But we didn't have very much money, so we had to settle for what we could afford. I'm getting my wedding album, photo DVD, and index prints either tomorrow or Friday shipped to my job so I can sign for them. I hope I will like all that more than I did the digital proofs, but not sure how I will feel until I see them.

Same here ladies.....I have been active stalking the blog, facebook, and website. I am sure I am driving my DH crazy, because I can't wait to see how everything going to turn out. She did email and say I should be getting a sneak peak by the end of the week. Let's pray!!!

Wow! Hearing these stories makes me love our photog even more. We got married the 25th and last Friday (just shy of two weeks) we got our 300 prints, DVDs, CDs for printing with rights and our enlargement. We got them in hand before they were even online! We loved her!

I'm also waiting on our pics! The photographer said 4-6 weeks and it's only been about 2 1/2.. I'm ok with waiting b/c she had a ton of weddings in September, and if she takes her time editing the pics will be perfect!!
