Accountable

I know this board isn't much of a conversational one but I just wanted to say that since I posted the "dreadful" task post and since I shared my least favorite chore - I have been completing the laundry the whole way through.

I have sorted, washed, dried, folded AND put away clothes the last two nights. Big accomplishment.

Re: Accountable

  • I dread doing laundry too. I have to go down to the laundromat tomorrow, and even though it's a few hours, I feel like I spend all day there.

Kudos to you though for getting it done!

  • Yes

It's safe for me to say: I have not been keeping up with laundry. Sad I plan to do better, if that counts for anything.

  • Woohoo, what a great feeling Big Smile

I've found that laundry sorters make this job SO much easier.  I sort as I go, and once one bag is getting full, I detatch it from the sorter and throw it in the wash.  I need to get another one though because I'm a bit of a sorting nazi! (gotta have reds, darks, whites, in-betweens, delicates, sweats or anything fuzzy, and towels).  A bit much maybe?  sometimes I combine darks and reds lol.

Where did you get this cool contraption from? Bed Bath and Beyond? Because this sounds like a must have.

Looks like you have something to do that can keep you busy until Saturday. Wink

I got mine from Walmart.  I've had two and you need to superglue the pipes together when you put it together and read the directions or else it will drive you crazy.  It's not the greatest quality but it's the only one I can find with removable mesh bags.  I can remove a bag, throw it over my shoulder santa-style and shake it into the washer or even throw the whole thing in there.  I don't want to be bent over digging dirty laundry out of a hamper if I don't have to!
