Anything cute you have been or seen someone else as? I'm not going to necessarily copy it, just looking for ideas. DH and I usually do something together and I'm drawing a blank. We have a party to go to on the 30th and have to dress up. TIA.
Re: Costume help
Double Dare contestants. Super easy costume, all you need are sweatpants and DD tshirts (easily found online.) If you want to get more fancy you can add elbow/knee pads, helmet, and little flags that you can put around the party you're at for "physical challenges."
I'm all about dressing up - DH not so much.
I think I want to get one of those cute bumblebee costumes this year, and he can be a beekeeper. All he has to do is wear khaki and I'll make him a hat with some netting. Twenty bucks says he loses the hat immediately, so I may write "beekeeper" on a t-shirt or something... lol...
so I'm sneaking over from the knot...simply because I love reading about all the nesties and bumpies and all the ladies here seem really nice and it just makes me want to be married already and having a baby.
anyways, FI and I (since we're not married yet I can't say DH, boo), are dressing up as Vincent Vega and Mia Wallace - Pulp Fiction.
**Whenever I'm alone with you, you make me feel like I am home again; Whenever I'm alone with you; You make me feel like I am whole again**
I love this!
I really want to get a Lucille Ball costume - G could be Desi. This may have something to do with my obsession of Lucille, though.
Ted would LOVE to dress up. I'm the turd in this relationship. lol.
My DH is a turd too.
I really, really want to get him to dress up with me at least once!
LOL! Our first halloween together I got him to dress up as the scarecrow from wizard of oz - SO stinkin cute. Ever since then, the "costume" has had to be super simple. He's a pretty good sport about it...
We're going as Al & Peggy Bundy from Married with Children. DH is another one that doesn't like to dress up, so I found him a Polka High jersey online (80tees dot com) for $20 and he can just wear jeans with it. For Peggy, she's pretty easy...I'm wearing black leggings, heels, cheap jewelry and a wig of hers I found online...the only thing I'm having problem is, finding a top thats leopard print that is off the shoulders.
This year we're going to be out of town for all of the parties, but we'll be back to dress as "spooks" & pass out candy/ spook the kids. Every year we transform our porch (this year our garage) into a haunted house. Friends come over and dress up as ghouls, we blare the "screaming" CD, and have tons of blacklights and strobe lights. We're just dressed spooky for this (complete with whiteout contacts/ wigs/ masks/ whatever). WE BOTH LOVE HALLOWEEN!
What we've done in the past for Halloween parties:
Mother Nature & Father Time
Poison Ivy & Robin (our friends were Batman & Catwoman)
A cat & a rooster (this one had a hidden meaning that fellow-pervs will get).
Medusa & Perseus
