Have you ever been to a psychic?
My sister called me last night and was telling me how she had listened to the tapes of when she went to a psychic just before she got married. She was telling me about the things that have and haven't happened that the lady told her. Including the bit that said I would push the boyfriend I was with at the time away ( I did ), he would have a decision to make ( he left me for someone else ) and I would met someone fabulous ( I Did!).
Soooo, anyone else been to one and had anything come 'true'?

This is absolutely true and I completely agree. I think psychics are a bunch of BS and make sweeping generalizations in their predictions. I tend to think that if psychics were real, shouldn't they have already known about 9/11 or Hurricane Katrina before they happened? Even something as simple as knowing what number I'm thinking of; they can't tell that either.
I feel that there's an explanation for everything and don't believe in psychics, ghosts, or anything of the sort.
Do the creep.
My old roommate and I went to a psychic to have our palms read before my 23rd birthday - had just started dating DH six months before.... the psychic told me some things that were true - she "saw a man in my life who I cared about and would be with for a long time, she "saw marriage as a possibility" and she saw "grad school in my future"....
However, she told my roommate that she had bad luck with men and was doomed for a life without love...and that she could help her with 100 dollars and five more sessions.....
