I just got a 20% off coupon from Payless and I'm looking to buy a pair of boots for the winter.
I already have:
- a pair of dark brown faux leather boots with heels. These come up to my knees. (Love these, but my feet hurt if I wear them too long)
- a pair of grey suede boots, no heel and they come up a few inches above my ankles. (Also love these but my feet get wet if it is slushy outside)
So if you were me which pair would you get:
Dark brown riding boots (like the look better but they would not be as warm. Plus I already have brown boots.)
OR
Black fur lined boots. (not as cute IMO but would be warm and dry. And I don't have black boots yet.)

Re: What would you buy?
Since you've already got brown knee high boots, I'd go with the black ones.
Good luck! Boot shopping is always fun!!
If you like the black ones, get the black ones. But, if you aren't completely in love with them,I would wait until I found a pair I loved. Otherwise, they would just end up in the pile of shoes in the closet. The ones that I bought because I might wear them some day
I agree with this. Personally, I wouldn't get fur-lined boots for day wear because I think my feet would get way too hot. I have snow boots for the cold that I wear if I ride the bus or am traipsing through the snow, but bring "regular" shoes or boots to work to wear while I'm indoors.
Thanks for your replies. I still don't know which pair to get. Chymes point about having hot feet is a good one.... I'm always cold so I don't usually have hot feet in the winter but I've never had fur lined boots either so maybe I should rethink that.
I'll keep looking for now. Thanks again for your opinions!
