Ugh. My work review is tomorrow.
I nearly threw up in my mouth while typing that. I have worked at my job for a year and a half and this will be my first review. My boss is great - probably the greatest boss of all time and I really respect his opinion. And at one time he had this job so clearly anything he says will be extremely valuable. But...he can be brutal. And I am well aware of my sh!t-tastic faults...I just don't really like them pointed out to me. Anyway, if I don't post in the next few days its probably because I jumped out of my office window after the review was over. Please just FB me and my husband will give you the funeral info.

I bet it's going to go fine. But I understand being very aware of your faults...the past few days I have felt like a total dimwit at my job. Blahhh.

We are starting that process here. It worries me a bit. I think I work really hard but I've never been evaulated in this new supervisory role.
You'll do awesome - I know it.
I know reviews can be nerve-wracking, but I'm sure you'll do just great. Reviews at my current job are once a year and honest, but not brutal - which I can handle. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
It is over with and I am not jumping off of the side of the building. It was not at all what I was expecting and he said that although he has a rep of being brutal he was definitely less brutal with his staff this year because there was no reason to be so brutal. Woot woot!
I finished the evals for my staff a few weeks ago so thankfully this process is OH-VER.
