We made the executive decision to hold off on turning the furnace on until Sunday (or whenever Derek can get most of the work done) so I put the flannel sheets on the bed last night. I love those sheets. I don't know why I was so resistant to them in the past.
I'm more than likely going to have to stay late at work tonight. I've got this project due that is URGENT and CANT WAIT but wasn't submitted until late last week. Thanks.
How is everyone this rainy (here at least) Thursday morning?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good morning!
Busy today. I've been working on a high priority and time sensitive project for quite some time now, so I've been staying late quite frequently. A little more stressful this week since I've been trying to get out at a somewhat decent time since my mom is here.
We bought a new duvet that was delivered yesterday, and what a difference last night! We were totally toasty warm and I'm going to love it when the winter comes in full strength.
Surprisingly enough, no rain here in London today.

Good morning. I must admit Raynes, I LOVE flannel sheets. I actually need to buy new ones since we purchased a new mattress this spring. I might have to do that this weekend.
No rain here....yet. We have a big rain storm coming in this afternoon into tomorrow morning.
I am doing great today. I have zumba tonight, and need to finish planning for the boys baptisms this weekend. I will have to post pictures because their baptism gowns came out beautiful. It is weird to see most of my wedding dress gone, but it was well worth it.
Mmm. Fla-nannel. Nothing says autmn like them!
I'm cooking Japanese food with my friend Kat tonight, whilst trying to stave off a cold (again). It seems that I just keep on fighting this thing to no avail...

I am not having a good day today. I have this cough that just won't go away even though I feel 100% better. The springs in our garage door broke last night, so my car is trapped in the garage. DH had to drive me to work today which is completely out of his way and my mom is going to have to pick me up, because DH has to go home early and wait for the repairman.
Also, 3 people on my team are gone today and tomorrow (2 of them were out all week), so everyone's work is coming to me. It seems like this week is taking forever to pass.
I am ready for this week to be over.
Good morning! It's rainy here, too, and I walked a mile in that crap. I hate rainy days when I don't get to stay in bed.
The entire floor is at an all-hands meeting (I don't count since I'm a contractor) for two hours. It's nice and quiet on the floor. H just sent me a job ad that's right up my alley, so I'll be working on that at some point today.
I'm hoping to get home tonight, have a nice dinner (H's homemade pasta sauce), and then finish reading the book on Micronesia that was recommended to me. If it's still raining then, it'll be a good wrap-up to the day.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
I just love it when that happens. Planning, people.
It's raining here, too, which sucks since I am supposed to go out and look for new office space this afternoon. Our lease is up in January and I need to find us a place before we are homeless. Unfortunately this is not easy because my boss wants a great location and a view and doesn't want to pay what those things cost. I'm in for a rough few weeks until I can convince him that he is going to have to give on one of those things.

I also have several big, last-minute deadlines for work. I was notified of all four early this week and all need to be out by the end of the week. Of course, all four people think that I should drop everything to help them, but that's just not possible when there are four people who all pull the same crap.
Tonight DH and I are shopping for supplies for an event this weekend.
Good morning ladies!
Today I have a pretty laid back day. I have seminar to attend @ noon for all civil engineering students. They're probadly gonna talk about how we need to take the FE exam before we graduate and all that jazz. Tonight I pretty much have a crap load of homework to do.
Good Morning!
I am at the office all by myself today so it is quiet but I will be able to get some stuff done now. I am still waiting for good news on the house.
Rebaann: Ugh, I'm sorry, good luck with that. Why don't bosses understand nice things come with a nice pricetag? My bosses want to do our company dinner in January (to save money) and want it at a winery, but want to spend less than $65pp, INCLUDING the 9.5% tax and required 18% gratuity.
And that is fresh in my head because we have our monthly marketing meeting today and I don't feel like beating this dead horse again. Highlight will be the goat-milk brownies we're trying from a local shop, to see if we want to give them as client christmas gifts.
Good morning!
I've posted the latest recipe on August Cooks. Nommmm.

Sounds like your baby is kicking your tookus. Hopefully things get back to normal.
