and found it like this:
Yup! The door is closed, but the frame has been bent back. According to the body shop place we were robbed by the dumbest crook ever! They stole our old GPS that got kinda melted in the Outer Banks, so it doesn't even talk! Then they looked through all our CDs, and I guess after finding out we only listen to 90's pop punk, indie rock, and death metal decided to do this:
That's the PASSENGER'S side! Absolutely no reason to do it!
Anyway, I cried like a chump this morning when I saw it-- I think from stress. I had to call out from work, get a sub, call my learning assistant and make sure she knew the lessons in case they couldn't get a sub, take the car to a shop, call insurance, get a rental car... blaaaaahhhhh.
Re: Walked out to my car this morning...
OMG! I'm so sorry! I would have cried to and probably thrown a fit. Sounds like you've had quite a day so far!
That is terrible! Oh, my goodness, I'm so sorry. Do you have comprehensive insurance?
And what happened to the passenger side? I'm not seeing what's wrong in that picture.
They broke our side mirror-- broke the glass and it's just hanging by a thread on the side of the car. It almost fell completely off by the time we got to the body shop!
And yes, we have comprehensive insurance... but our deductible is $500! I was not expecting to have to put out that kind of money this month! Wish I wouldn't have spent so much on my classroom!
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
This completely sucks and I'm sorry you had to deal with it all.
I must admit, I am impressed with the way they bent the entire frame of the door to get into your car. This seems incredibly stupid.
