Can someone explain to me
the car commercial in which the little boy says to the other boys "race you home" but then runs and jumps in the back of his moms car, sticks out his tongue, and leaves the others milling around looking pissed? I thought the kids were brothers, but no. I thought they were just having a fun race but why does the kid appear to be escaping and the others look menacing?
Re: Can someone explain to me
I am equally confuse as to what the boys are doing, but my biggest concern is how it even shows the use of a reverse system because the car pulls forward away from the boys. She never even backs up.
It's just a dumb dumb dumb commercial.
I was just Googling (ironclad research!) and found several people speculating that the commercial was originally about the kid escaping bullies, but Chrysler added the "race you home" line in later in order to give the ad a more wholesome tone.
By wholesome, they meant confusing.
