Cougar Town *Spoiler*
To anyone who watched last night's episode. I missed the last 5 minutes or so because of my DVR messing up. 
Laurie had just gone in to hug Smith and had said "why aren't you hugging back?" or something like that.... Then my recording went black, and the commercials came on, then the credits rolled. Can anyone fill in the blanks? TIA!

That sucks, I hate when that happens.
Smith realized he didn't feel the same about Laurie and broke up with her, Laurie was heartbroken. Jules couldn't just let her sit there and cry, so she went to comfort her and they made up.
