Well, it looks like this was more of a scam than anything. The "interview" today was not even necessarily an interview. They called it a personality interview.
Basically this was a hiring/training company who works for/with an international fragrance company. We were never given the name of the actual company. They wouldn't discuss benefits. You are not given a paycheck while you go thru their mandatory training period (60-90 days). They want the candidates to call them back instead of them calling us.
There were a few too many red flags that went up. I guess I'm chalking this one up to a learning experience.

Craigslist--should have known.
Also, the BBB, Attorney General and Dept of Labor have no record of this company on file.

Sorry to hear that things didn't turn out the way you thought....but I think everyone goes through this at least once.
I remember around 2002 or 2003 when I was job hunting I was asked to come in for a hiring event for an unknown company. So being young & naive, I went even though I didn't know much about it, and my car was not in the best condition....it turned out to be a pyramid scam. But what was kinda funny about it was that it was for an internet company that was like a wannabe Google, and they expected you to invest in the company and recruit other people.
Keep your head up and don't give up! Something will come along eventually.
