Disturbing email

I know that it is spam and not to read into that much but I can't help but be a little unnerved (thanks to all the crime dramas I watch).

The email subject is "your life is in danger". The body of the message goes on about how this guy (the one writing) has been hired to kill me. His guys have been watching me and have been paid to follow through. He contacted the person (supposedly a friend of mine) for my email so he could warn me. If I pay him $10,000 he will not go through with it, however will give me the videotape for an additional $15,000. I can take the tape to the authorities so I can capture my friend.

Um, can we say strange? I have to say this tops any spam I have ever received.
