FIL is nuts.
Story is: dumb a$$ meets chick from Arkansas on eharmony. Talks on the phone with her three times. Meets her for the first time two weeks ago. After talking on the phone after the first encounter (which was an awkward one according to my SIL), they're moving in together, she's quitting her job in AK and leaving friends/family to come drive around his Shelby Cobra and play housekeeper. dubya tee eff.

My BIL met a girl on match.com about 4 months ago and started dating her while she was in the process of getting divorced. He brought a brand new house this summer and she left her job in a different city and moved in and has busied herself buying new flat screens, furniture, and hiring a landscaper for their patio home (which my ILs are paying for) on his dime. He also just bought her a new car and has bought season tickets to the Texas Rangers and OU games for the two of them (they also go to all the out of town games) and they travel a lot. They can't get married because it's not been 6 months since her divorce has been finalized (they are talking about getting married out of state instead). I am working on not being judgy, but something seems sketch. She's 23 and he's 31 - this is only his second serious relationship (last one was about 10 years ago) but we're hoping for the best because he seems happier.
My first impression of her was just meh but he seems content. She does sell Scentsy, so I'm pretty stoked about getting access to all the new stuff. Trying to focus on the positive. . .hard but trying because maybe this is his soul mate. I'm just worried because she was with her ex-husband since she was 13 and jumped immediately into a serious relationship with BIL. I am hoping he's not a rebound and this works out.
yea, I agree, sounds a bit crazy. Is she smokin' hot? Or a lot younger than him?
