I'm beginning to think that I'm gonna be stuck at my job forever b/c everyone else doesn't pay anything. First off, I don't really make much at all but I had another interview with another distributor (sister one of the other I interviewed with) so I guess I should have seen it coming. They offered me the same rate as the other one (which is like a 20% decrease and more driving).
But this one is bigger, has better beers, etc and I guess I was hoping it'd be different. To have to turn down 2 jobs in 2 months is never something that I thought I'd be doing, especially to work at another beer distributor. It's getting me think that maybe I am at the right job for me, at least for now. If I didn't have to deal with ms psycho owner, than it'd be different
Thanks for listening
Re: Turned down another job
I have been looking for new jobs as of late too. I've been here for 4 years, not a bad gig, just kind of tired of it and my needy boss. I'd stay in the same line of work but no place I've encountered pays as much or gives consistent raises/bonuses. I just a 5% raise yesterday so I figure I can deal with the stuff I'm not gung-ho about!
Hmmm is there a way you can get on psycho owners good side to help with that situation??
