PW today sorry but...
You all know how very difficult this year has been for me. I've managed to fall in love with 7 out of 8 of my students so far. And I also teach a Language Arts class that's not just my MRP students.
One of the parents from that class came to conferences last night and said to me, you know since being in your class Emma has started reading at home and really enjoying it, she comes back every day with new words, and we're really seeing her develop as a reader. You are one of the best teachers she has ever had. So when are you going on maternity leave because I'm really sad about her not having you anymore.
It really made me think do I really want to leave my kids next year and go back to high school?
