I know I'm a complete PW lately, but I desperately need a haircut, and seeing Shauni's new hair inspired me to finally pick out a new style. What do you think of this?

I like your disclaimer. :-) I think it's really cute!
I just know for my hair it would take a lot of maintenance, and that's not something I'm big on. I'm also not sure I could take the side bangs. I feel like I'd be constantly pushing them out of my face and getting annoyed.
I think it's a very cute style. I would like to have my hair that length but I'm kinda digging the length of it now (mid back).
this is the picture i took to the salon! mine looks more like that than in the picture on FB--that one makes my hair look longer and like it has not layers.
so to sum up, i obviously really like this look
ETA, sunshine, it is really easy to maintain! i dont even own a hairbrush

Two things:
1) That is too freaking funny. Because, as I said, you were my original inspiration.
2) I am really glad to hear you say it's low maintenance. I do blow-dry my hair in the winter (because it's too cold to let it air dry) but it's a quick thing, and I don't use any products.

I found this picture that I really like...now I just have to stare at it for a few days and then decide if I really want it or not...
TN will not let me BOLD what you said that i am reiterating...BUT, i blow dry my hair occasionally in the winter when it is cold too, bc i dont want pneumonia! however, i do sometimes put some sort of thickening stuff in is just as a psychological thing.

See, that makes me think your hair must be way thinner and more tame than mine. My hair is super thick and frizzy as hell when I have it short. It's also somewhere in between curly and straight where it looks sort of like a lion's mane if I don't blow dry and flat iron it regularly. I don't think I could ever get my layers to look like that - well, without too much effort in the mornings. Which sucks b/c I love the style.

yes, i have the worlds finest hair ever. it wont hold a curl. it always looks like it has been flattened with a straightening iron.

Me too. It has a tiny bit of a natural wave in places, but in a bad way (not cute at all) that needs to be blow-dried straight. Ok, I'm sold.
