AYFYM??? Lifestyles members!!!
So, who got a pink card in the mail notifying you that as of 2010 each member has to pay a $25 "maintenance fee"
Funny.
I really don't pay that much, $50 a year, but seriously, a "maintenance fee"
Or is this a get the owner out of trouble fee considering he hasn't paid ohio sales tax for two of his locations!!!!!!!
Booze, it's what's for dinner

Re: AYFYM??? Lifestyles members!!!
I didn't get one today...but when I got home a little bit ago, that was the first message I had on my facebook page from a friend who goes to the Parkway location.
And yeah...I think that's exactly what it is...owner trying to come up with whatever way possible to raise cash to pay for his eff up. Moron.
I got one. The Parkway Plaza is NOT owned by the guy who got in trouble.
And honeslty, $25 a year is nothing to me b/c I only pay $8/month. I will however be pissed if they don't start fixing the spin bikes.
But on the flip side, it makes me think WTF does my and the other hundreds of people who work out there memebship fee go towards?
I am 99% sure Brandi is correct. He didn't pay OH sales tax on the Monroe Location and Parkway. I remember reading it in the paper.
I don't mind paying the $25 so much, it really is nothing, I do only pay like $4.50 a month, BUT I'm wondering what all the money is going to, honestly, some of the treadmills at Monroe St. have been there since I joined in 1998!!!!!!!!! And lately when I've been going several pieces of equipment are broken, ellipticals, treadmills, etc...
I'll pay it, so I pay $75 a year now, still a steal in my book. But I'll say it again, I better see some improvements of equipment and get some f-ing paper towels in the damn bathrooms too!!!! hehe
