I think I might be one of the last people to get the 2007 software, however if I am wrong and you still haven't upgraded, want to upgrade with me? I have been looking at upgrading and some packages come with 3 installs. So to cut my cost I'd love to go in with two other people. What do you think?

Congrats to my super sweet BFPB, veronicafvr, She's a SEP '11 momma

Re: Microsoft 2007 upgrade
we might be interested. i have an older laptop that i want to set up for my son but i haven't done so because my EX has the install discs for the version of office that is on there now...
EDIT: NM, i was just looking into what i can get it for with my student discount and it's crazy cheap so we'll just do that.
I could be wrong, but I think the only issue you my have is if someone's computer dies and they need to reinstall it, they're going to be desperate to get your attention and the disc ASAP to reinstall it.
Or if they're truly IT geeks then they'll reformat their harddrive every 6 months or so and need the disk. (Shudders at the thought of all that work!)
That's a good point. My parents just got a new computer and it was a PAIN trying to transfer Office without the disk.
Unless it comes with 3 CDs I'd think most people would pass :-(
Great points, not sure if they would come with 3 CD's...I'll look into that.
Lily...I wonder if you could get 2 softwares with your student discounts?? I have thought about asking a student to get mine for me. --would you do that for me if you can? Computers are too spendy, sheesh.
