All of these options suck
We are going to Voodoo in two weeks. I am way excited.
3 days of music in a park. We go every year. Last year I only went one day because morning sickness was killing me.
So this year I would like to go all three days. But these are my options:
1. Bring Dagger all three days.
2. Get a babysitter for 1 or 2 days (i think 2 is better). Then I would have to bring my pump into the festival or go out to my car to pump. I emailed to see if they even have a place inside to pump.
3. Go one or two days with Dagger and send mr. Winged alone the other day(s).
I don't care for any of those options.
Re: All of these options suck
You should be able to pump in the first aid tent, I would think. Parenting a breastfeeding baby has crappy moments.
Kids ruin everything. And I'm super jealous that you're going to Voodoo! I heard something about it on the radio the other day and I thought of you
You forgot a 4th option, which is to leave Dagger with your crazy MIL for the 3 days. You'll be baby free and she can't complain about you keeping him from her anymore. See, doesn't that sound like a great option?
I hope there are no heavy objects near you that could be thrown at my head right now
heavy objects like my computer?
Buddha, will you come down?
And kristen, I assume they will. That is what I did at the last festival we went to. But this is in the middle of a park with no real structures and when I went to the med tent last year it was just an open air facility. I assume and hope they have a more private facility as well.
Yea, I don't know what's worse. Rolling the dice with a baby that could be 100% content the whole time or could have a tough day, or lugging a pump and milk around.
Also, I hope you'll get Dagger those headphones PDX posted the other day.
The nerve!
