  • 6 Days- Make Cards and cookies for Halloween

    6 Weeks- Have  most if not all of our Christmas shopping done

    6 Months- Go on vacation!

    6 Years- Buy a house and start thinking about having kids

  • 6 Days: get my yard ready for the winter

    6 Weeks: be done with christmas shopping

    6 Months: be finishing my last class and getting ready to graduate

    6 Years: have kids and be settled into our "forever" home

  • 6 Days: have everything settled with the new car, and officially rework our budget

    6 Weeks: have an excellent thanksgiving with my family6 Months: *hopefully* doing visits to PhD programs for DH6 Years: *Hopefully* have a Dr. DH! and have some good options for finding our way closer to home.

  • Come on ladies, 6 weeks be done xmas shopping? Do you not enjoy the rush of black friday last minute purchases?

    6 Days- get rid of a garbage bag of toys from each kids room & a bag full of books they have too much stuff.

    6 Weeks- Have a full blown girls night out, I want dinner, drinks, & a hotel with a hot tub.

    6 Months- Decide if we're done having babies or not. Its a big debate in our house lately on when/if we should have a 3rd child.

    6 Years- Be done building our someday house.

  • 6 Days-- PAY OFF HOME OWNERS INSURANCE FOR THE YR6 Weeks--  DECIDE ON PLANS FOR THANKSGIVING & MENU6 Months-- START TTC 6 Years- - BUY A LARGER HOUSE

  • 6 Days: Finish my story for my creative writing class6 Weeks: Put in new carpet6 Months: Buy a new car6 Years: Buy a house. Have a baby.
  • 6 Days: have my lesson plans done for the month of November, make some Halloween treats

    6 Weeks: be settled into our new apartment

    6 Months: have a good chunk of our savings built back up for a down payment on a house, be ready to move back to Ohio

    6 Years: have a decent sized house, have a kid or two, be saving to purchase land so we can build our dream house, have finished my teaching license and Master's degree

  • Yeah I agree about Black Friday shopping.  So fun with mom and sis.  Even if almost all of my Christmas shopping is done already, we always find something we *need*

    6 Days- Run my first marathon!  But first, get over this nasty cold and clean the house so the ILs don't think we live in a pit.

    6 Weeks- Have a fantastic first Thanksgiving with DH and his family.  Can't wait!

    6 Months- Uhhhhh..... I guess finish my courses strongly enough that I feel confident going into my board exams?  Not a lot of goals in this time frame.

    6 Years- Finish school, land a sweet residency program, buy a house, have or be working on a little one.

  • 6 Days:  Have a plan put together for the Kid's Kingdom program I'm taking over

    6 weeks:  Have at least a portion my Christmas shopping completed

    6 months:  Apply for and be accepted to a Master's program

    6 years:  Have a baby, a house, and receive my professional (as opposed to provisional) teaching certificate

  • 6 days: Finish final paper for class.  Get the house clean so I'm not embarrassed by it.

    6 weeks: Get more organized at school and have tutoring program up and going.

    6 months: Buy a house and be done with Master's program.

    6 years: Maybe a baby.

     

     

  • I would rather claw my eyes out with a spork than go shopping on Black Friday.  My mom never took me when I was younger, perhaps that is why I hate it?

    6 Days  Catch up on my cleaning. 

    6 Weeks  Eating some yummy turkey!  (isn't thanksgiving 6 weeks from today?)

    6 Months Booking our next cruise

    6 Years In a cute little house with some adorable babies running around

    I am with you there, Britt. After working in retail through college, I have had enough of the Black Friday shopping craziness. 

    This year, H and I are doing Thanksgiving on Friday since he is on call for Thanksgiving and will likely be a work a good part of the day.

  • 6 Days:  Be ready for a garage sale, bake some banana bread6 Weeks:  START Christmas shopping ;)6 Months:  Have a good start on the nursery6 Years:  Be DONE with having babies, be in our permanent home

  • Tell me something you want to do or accomplish in:

    6 Days: Take down all of the old trim at the house and at least start putting down new, already painted trim

    6 Weeks: Have the trim done in all room and have the walls painted and curtains hung in the kitchen, diningroom and livingroom for Thanksgiving at our house. And have the menu, etc finalized. I would LOVE to have the bathroom renovated by then too, but we'll see.

    6 Months: Have the bathroom renovated, the two downstairs bedrooms converted into the one master bedroom, walk in closet, coat closet, and master bath.

    6 Years: Have a solid teaching position or have H in a place where I only have to work preschool, have two children (one in 1.5 years, another 2-4 years after)

    6 Months- Have planned our next cruise for next summer

    6 Years- Be done with my Master's, Have my professional teaching license and a stable job as a Teacher. Also have had at least two babies and be in our first home

  • 6 days - recover from the unplanned trip home and prepare for our planned trip to AK!

    6 weeks - finish this semester in grad school.  My program is 4 semesters and this is only the 1st one, but I want to have it over with and get closer to the end. I'm not really up for taking classes, but am doing it anyways.  Also, decide about where to spend Christmas.

    6 months -  pay off 2 debts.  We're really working on budgeting, saving, and paying things off since the wedding.  We're starting to see some results and would love to reach these next 2 goals.

    6 years -  Open my own dual-language immersion school (can't hurt to aim high, right?!).  Buy a bigger house.  Have a baby, adopt another.
