Concert tonight
Tonight I took my mom to the Carrie Underwood concert. It was the first time Carrie came to the area. And the venue is less than 10 minutes from my house, literally. I wouldn't have gone if my mom didn't love her so much (the ticket was a Mother's Day gift). We had wanted to go to Des Moines to visit my sister and her family tonight. But we are instead getting up super early to hit the road by 7:00.
I have to say that the concert was amazing! I even liked the first opening act - Sons of Sylvia! And Billy Currington was good too. I tried to take pics of every outfit she wore, but my phone died during the concert. I'll get them uploaded to FB soon.
She is as good in concert as she is in the studio. Has anyone else see her live?

I haven't seen Carrie but I did see Billy when he was first starting out, maybe 3 or 4 years ago? I'm a country music girl through and through!!!
