irritated! How long did it take you to get your wedding photo's back?
My photographer said that we would have our wedding pictures 8 weeks after the wedding. I have recently been told that it's a long time, is it?
Also we are going on week 11.
Anyway let me know how long it took you to get your photos?

We had a similar experience with our photographer (signed a contract stating that it would take about 8 weeks). We were married mid-July and we did not receive our photos until November, which was a lot later than we were expecting. Our photographer ended up upgrading our packaged (worth $300), and he sent us godiva chocolates with our discs when they were finally done to keep us happy/reward us for our patience. Despite this, I would still recommend our photographer to anyone. He's gotten a lot better at getting photos out more quickly since he now limits how many weddings he does per month.

our contract was 8 weeks.
my photographer did contact me about a situation in her family and asked if i would be okay if she took another 2 weeks - and i was completely fine with that as life events do take place for everyone.
had she not asked or let me know something was going on though - i would have been extremely impatient and irritated!!
Our wedding was September 27th and we didn't get our pictures till around the middle of December. So.... 10 weeks or so? My photographer did email me to apologize but it was a little frustrating.
It definitely depends on the photog. Have you contacted your photographer to find out what the hold up is or to inquired when you'll be getting the pics?
We were supposed to get them in 4 weeks and it took over 4 months- and there wasn't really much of an apology.

We have contacted him around week 8 to see how they were coming along. All he said was "great, you'll get them soon", however my videographer really wants to add some of the photography shots with the video and has been emailing our photographer like crazy (with me attached to the emails) so clearly our photographer knows he is taking his sweet time and needs to hurry up!

I was going to ask if your photographer was BH! We were promised 8 weeks....it took over a year to get our "artistic edits." Worst vendor ever.
