Recommend condoms and lube
Getting married in December and looking for recommendations for your favorite condoms and lube.
224 Ready to Celebrate

Re: Recommend condoms and lube
Congratulations on your up coming wedding
Favorite condoms - Durex pleasure pack.
Favorite lubes - Pure Pleasure, Just Like Me, and X-Scream (all from Pure Romance)
If you have never had sex before, and your honeymoon will be yours and/or his first time, DO NOT use any "fancy" lubes, that are warming, scented, colored, etc. You are both going to be really sensitive, you especially, and the warming, scented stuff can get rubbed into those tissues and cause a lot of irritation and possibly an infection. Just get a plain water based lube like KY.
Also, if you choose to use condoms, make certain that the lube is compatible with the condom, oil based lubes can make condoms break. I would not recommend a condom with spermicide, because it's known to cause bad reactions, but some people are okay with them.
Basically, since your vagina is going to have a lot of internal stretching and possibly some tears, you want the condom and lube to be as non irritating as possible.
In terms of condoms, I like the Durex Ultra Thin. Trojan makes ultra thins that are good too.
Oh yeah, the Wet Platinum is oil based so it won't go well with latex condoms. Regular water-based Wet works with the latex.
Congrats on the upcoming wedding!
Our choice combo is Trojan Ecstasy with ID Millenium lube. It's a silicone lube, which I find to be most comfortable and non-irritating, and it doesn't get sticky. This one is safe for use with condoms, but not all silicone lubes are.
Whatever lube you'd like to buy, make sure you check the bottle for "safe with condoms."
And ditto PP, do NOT buy some crazy warming/cooling/tingling/pleasure enhancing lube. Just the plain stuff please.
For starters, I want to say Congraulations! Marriage is an adventure and if you stay on top of the marriage throughout the whole thing you win!! (lol)
Secondly, As far as fave condoms and lube the selection is vast and I am letting you know now in big letters AVOID TINGLING LUBE!!!! DH and I tried that once. Durex came out with this Play series and they had a minty lube for extra stimulation. He first put it on his penis and it began to burn. He was screaming, "Get it off! This Shyt burns!!" I grabbed some water and soap and it didn't work. Still burning. We then threw him in the shower and still nothing. It had to kinda go away on its own which was an hour later. Being stupid and not wanting to waste money I tried it myself and got the same result. Not cool.
What worked for us? JO personal lubricant. It lasts and glides like silk. We have tried Wet, KY and there is another one I can not think of but they dried out on us. JO is water-based and lasts and lasts.
Thirdly, DH and I are opposing forces when it comes to condoms. I like the Trojan Ultra Pleasure condoms but i think Trojan is about to discontinue them because I keep getting them at Walgreens for cheap. DH likes Magnum condoms. I don't like them because they make "her" smell like latex more than the other brand.
See what works for you guys and have a great marriage and try your best to keep the sex in it!
Two words: Pure Romance.
GL & Congrats!
