Where to store lots of random papers?
DH does graphic design, and loves to clip out pictures, tear out magazine pages, collect brochures, etc. He has a LOT of "inspiration". We're re-doing his office at home, and we're stuck on where to store these pieces of paper.
It's a small room, so we don't have a lot of space.

You can get an office supply box, or rubbermaid containers, my suggestion would be to scan them into the computer, have a file labeled inspiring pieces in his main folders that has a ton of scanned pieces, he can open the entire folder in a photo viewer when searching for inspiration and when he's got the plan, close the ones he doesn't need. . . . I'm a Graphic Designer myself and this is what I do, When I find inspiration instead of ripping it out or what ever, I scan it and save it, or do a screen shot of the web page, whatever, and have a file just for that purpose, although much of the time, I search for inspiration based on client needs so I rarely use those papers . . . .
The only time you need to keep a hard copy of something is if it's work he has done, and in that case it should be in his portfolio right?
You could put them in a photo or trading card album, or glue them into a scrapbook. This would be the most useful and easiest way to be inspired, but it would take some time.
You could also buy a pack of manilla file folders and sort the clippings into categories, then file the folders alphabetically in one of those filing boxes that can be stored in a closet or get a two tiered filing cabinet.
