lurking...

IRT that question post below - i lurk a lot because i like to read what others have to say but  dont really feel the 'need' to reply, etc... i'm sure others are like that too, right??

i guess i feel like i'm 'here' when i'm reading, but  no one knows we're here unless we post, haha.

Re: lurking...

  • There are some posts I don't respond to either, like if someone pages someone, I don't typically say anything to those unless I have something to say (is that nosey?!). Also, I reopen posts a lot to read what others have to say, so I'm guessing that racks up the views a lot too as I'm sure a lot of us do that.
  • I've noticed that a lot of post get a lot of views, but not replies. That's why I asked.

I don't always have something to say or an answer but when 20 people have looked and no one has answered I wonder if it's us looking or someone else.

  • I think we do have lurkers, but I think a lot of it is that we post and then we read what others have said and also there have been times that I have just been able to lurk and not post till that evening or something.
Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml
  • sometimes throughout the day i may only have time to look at a couple of posts but not post a response right then and i have to reopen the post to post the response.
