A nursery PIP and Jake's "big boy" room
This is what we have done in the nursery so far. I did the painting on the wall. We have heavily textured plaster walls so we couldn't do a wall decal.

And we pulled the glider out of Jake's room and some of the baby decorations and replaced it with his PBK chair and an animal hammock. He's still in a crib but this is as close as he gets to a big boy room right now.

Re: A nursery PIP and Jake's "big boy" room
Cute! I like them both!
Are you guys getting a second crib or will Jake be out of his when the new baby comes?
Our plan is to transition Reece out of the crib while I'm on Christmas break and we do the big room switch, so hopefully that goes well. Since R will be almost 3 when the new baby comes, I figured he's old enough to handle a big boy bed - even though he makes no effort, at all, to climb out of his crib right now.
Love it! I need to upload Pics of Alex's big boy room. I'm hoping he sleeps well tonight since he's going from the crib (as a daybed) to a full size bed.
We primed the nursery and have the furniture in there (in the center at least) and I found some cute art work and curtains this weekend that will hopefully work in there. I was going to order a small wall decal too, but I have textured walls too....hmmm I'll have to rethink this maybe.
