Dissapointed

So I lost the 2lbs the first week of my diet, I'm starting my 3rd week today. Well I've gained 1 of the pounds I lost back and I can't seem to lose anymore =[ HH commented that he thought I looked slimmer, but why aren't the numbers on the scale going down? I'm going to do some research on WW's. Are you girls who are doing that losing weight?

  • Remember muscle weighs more than fat. So you could be looking slimmer because you are toning. You just won't be losing pounds as fast!

    Thats true. I got to thinking after I posted this that since I started this new bcp my boobs have gotten a little bigger. I guess that could be part of the weight gain there?

  • It could be that as well. There are so many factors that you have to look at when you are trying to loose weight! You are doing great and do not be discouraged and WW is the way to go. Hang in there!

  • Try to go more by how your clothes fit and how you look than the number on the scale. Weight fluctuates a lot just because of water retention, poop, stuff like that. You can easily gain a pound in water weight from eating something salty the day before!

  • I'm doing WW and have done it in the past. I had lost 20 lbs by just changing my eating habits a few yrs ago. I haven't exercised much, and by much I mean barely, and I've lost 4.2 lbs in 3 wks (that incl my lady time). Obviously if you work out in combination with watching what you eat you'll lose weight faster.

    I've never tried any other 'diet' but I like WW because you can still eat what you want, you just have to watch your portions more than anything. My goal is to lose (from my starting weight) 20.8 lbs by my 27th bday at the end of March. I'm pretty confident I'll make that goal the way things are going.

    This is me. I sit at a desk all day, go home, cook, clean, and sit down on the couch. Not much time for excercising. I've tried to watch my portions but I've been doing a horrible job at it. I'm going to start working harder.

  • My weight can sometimes fluctuate by as much as two pounds around my cycle, and I'm a pretty small person. Most months any change is negligible, but every once in a while I'll have an extra pound or two that disappears after my period ends. Stay the course!!

    I didn't think about that. I'll have my period next week.
