I tried out the Go Girl this weekend and it was pretty interesting. The first time I tried it, I was wearing fleece lined jeans (which sit up pretty high) so it was difficult to use the Go Girl, I had to pull my pants down as far as I would if I were squatting, which I think defeats the purpose. But the next day out hunting I wore leggings and Carhartt bibs. It worked great that way because I pulled the bibs down but the leggings made it easy to use. I think I will definitely use it again when I go camping, hunting, etc.
I would suggest trying it a few times at home to practice the placement and what type of clothes would work.
Re: Review: Go Girl
I will most likely never use one but I'm curious - do you put it inside your clothes and have the tube going outside?
I have a feeling I would have major performance anxiety with that thing and not be able to go!!
You pull down your undergarments and have the funnel looking device against your body and point it to the ground. You actually feel like a guy holding it there. I was talking about it at work last week and one of my coworkers thought you actually suctioned it to yourself and left it in your jeans all day haha.
It was definitely hard to go at first. I took about 30 seconds. I had that "I can't tell if I'm dreaming or sitting on the toilet feeling" haha.
So do you still "sit down" while using it like sitting on a toilet or do you pee standing up?? If it's the latter did you try and write your name with pee? I totally would have, HAH.
This kind of reminds me of a product my dad found once - Uncle Booger's Bumper Dumper http://www.bumperdumper.com/
You pee standing up, just like a guy! It felt really strange, I was actually laughing the whole time. I thought about the whole writing my name too, maybe when it snows I'll give it a try
There is a product that you suction to yourself. I think it is called the Stadium Gal.
OMG, I looked up the Stadium Gal and they have a Stadium Pal for men, it's an external catheter that you "put on like a condom" and pee in your seat. The urine is collected into a patch that is attached to your calf.
Now that is just gross and laziness!
It came with a plastic baggy to put in after use. Then when I got back to the camper I washed it with warm soapy water, dried it and rolled it back up into the container it came with. The next day I brought a ziploc bag along with and tp. It's made of silicone so it can be washed and reused multiple times.
The plastic container it came in is a little bit bigger than a film container (2.5"x1").
