Re: Happy Monday

  • Hello!  I had my first doctor's appointment this morning.  While the Dr was checking me over she was like, are you sure you have your dates right, your uterus is really high up.  So she goes and gets a doppler with the pre-warning that she isn't expecting to hear anything.  Well she doesn't and then orders an ultrasound to date the pregnancy.  I told her I really have to use the bathroom and that may be part of the reason. She agrees but I have to hold it as it'll make the ultrasound easier.  DH starts freaking out because he automatically jumps to the conclusion that there are two babies.  Well there is only one and the little bean is measuring right on time.  Just get to blame a full bladder.

As for this weekend, our new bedroom furniture was delivered.  It's so nice sleeping on adult furniture that isn't older than you.  Our old set was made in 1981 and David is now the new owner of it.  Long story short, we are going to re-use his furniture for the baby's room as we do not like how it held up to his wear and tear (mostly scratching from routine use) and didn't want to buy another brand new set to have the same thing happen.  So once David is out of his destructive stage, he will get a new set that will hopefully take him through college.

Hope everyone had a good weekend too.

Elizabeth, hope you are feeling good after last week's procedure.

  • Mel, glad everything is well with you and the little bean :)

Nolan got his first two teeth as im sure everyone seen and it was pure terror saturday night before they came in. Also Nolan may graduate this friday from the helmet!! YAYyY!! He is down to 1.75 mm and remember he started at 14mm. He will go for one visit in november to make sure once he graduates that his head doesnt go the opposite way and then he wont go back again. Im excited and nervous about it. Im still sick and trying to recover but I dont think I can because i cannot rest with Nolan.

Were getting new basement carpet at the end of the week so we are excited about that too.

  • Stacy, I hope Nolan graduates on Friday.  That would be the most excellent news!
