a little over 2 months away....
I know it is early, but I can't stop thinking about it.
What are you getting DH for Christmas? If you have combined finances how are you going to "Get away with it?"...

idk but I just bought DH concert tickets for his bday in November.
We still want a bunch of stuff for the house so we may to a gift to ourselves.
As for surprises, we kept our separate accounts in addition to a joint account just for occasions like this! But you could always put it on a credit card and then pay it off right away -- he'll know how much you spent but he won't know what it is
I've gotten him a few things already, but haven't figured out his big gift yet.
We have a joint account, so he knows where I went shopping, but doesn't know what I bought or who it's for. I think when I am ready to buy his big gift I may use cash or buy like a visa gift card or something.
DH's phone plan with Verizon just ended and he wants to switch to AT & T so he can get the iphone. He has been talking about the iphone ever since the first iphone came out. However, right now he can't afford to pay for it and neither can I .
I get an xmas bonus in November so I plan on getting him his phone for him then
I have no idea what to get DH, but something will come to me. I know he's getting me a Kindle, at least he better be since I've been asking for one forever.
We have a joint account and a joint credit card, but we both maintain our separate accounts from pre-marriage also that we can use for gifts.
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
I will either use cash or use my AMEX to buy...and he will never know!

Our case too.
I have NO clue what to get DH. We hope to be moving by then, so if that is the case, we will be getting new couches. But if we are not moving by then, I really don't know.

We have separate accounts that we can buy stuff for each other and the other would never know. If we didn't I'd just use cash.
I have no idea what to get DH but I asked him to buy my planner refill for me (aka emailed him the link for it!) Thanks for the reminder to keep thinking about it!

It's so hard to buy for H! He has everything that he wants, and he isn't a guy who "wants" stuff, if you know what I mean....but that doesn't stop me from trying every year!
I'll likely get him a new watch - because I think the current one has seen better days, but he'll just say "there's nothing wrong with it - it still ticks!" and a new parka...that's it so far!
Since we have separate checking accounts it works well to hide stuff.
And for the low-maintenance man who doesn't need or want anything, I never have a problem figuring out what to get him (allthough it's like grasping at straws trying to figure out what to buy my dad and BIL!).
I'm going to get him a cover for the grill, a new journal, a gift card for a foot reflexology massage (he's a runner), a robe, a windbreaker, the rest of the Return of Bruce Wayne comic books in the series (he LOVES Batman) and maybe some more of those nylon workout pants he likes so he can wear them to work in the winter (lucky him - only I have to dress up Monday - Friday). I will make one of them from Amanda - I'll let her pick which one she wants to give him.
Unless she wants to get him a case of beer like she did last year. LOL
