Painting help!

Hey ladies, I need some painting help/ opinions. We are in the process of reno-ing/ painting upstairs so we can move up there. It originally was an attic so the walls and ceilings are funky and I have no clue where to stop or start with the color.

The pic below is from the day we got the house. Its gonna be Makennas room and will have white wainscoting as high as a chair rail on the bottom of wall A. We plan on using light yellow as the paint color. If it matters, we are doing laminate wood flooring that is a dark cherry color.

Which do you think will look best?

Option A. Paint all walls yellow but the actually "ceiling" D (which would be white)

Option B. Paint A, C, E & F yellow and leave E and D white?

Option C. Do you have a different idea?

I would say either Option A or Option C, with Option C being to paint all walls yellow. Maybe do a shade lighter on the "ceiling" if you want to break it up a bit, but I think that with wainscotting and all yellow walls it would be fine.

I'd paint it all one colour, but if you're feeling artistically inclined, I think a mural or some other artsy treatment in the alcove would be kind of cute.

I think this sounds great and it would give it such a neat look. I want pics when it's all painted!
