So back from vacation and if anyone wants to check out some pictures you can go to our family blog in my siggy (Trusty Tales). So, I came home to a few funny things
1) Only Ben and I could go to Paris and lose weight. In the past 4 weeks, since I started the low carb diet to try to help my fertility, I have lost 6 lbs. Now if I could just ovulate.
2) We just got our mail that was held and we got something from the US Treasury department. Unfortunately they made a mistake in our taxes in 2008 and we got a check for $600!!!! That will go nicely in our savings for our baby fund and towards Ben's licensing.
I heart Ben!!

Re: AW: Vacation follow up
Welcome back! That's fabulous about coming home to an unexpected $600.
ETA: I just looked through your pics. Fabulous! You brought some memories back for me. I went to Paris and Amsterdam in '03. Versailles is just amazing, isn't it?! Amsterdam is gorgeous and there is no shortage of things to do there. I would love to revisit both cities.

Welcome back and whoohooo on the unexpected nice surprises.
congrats on the weight loss! I've actually heard that for many people who've vacationed in Europe-that despite all the good eating, the came back lighter.
I cant remember if that happened to me or not. Then again, that was almost 10 years ago when I went overseas.
