  • There are several good groups in the area.  I've heard good things about Atrium, Wilkerson (where I go), Capitol and Mid-Carolina.   Some are harder to get into than others as far as wait time if you aren't pregnant.   There's another good group that is all women I believe, Associates in Women's Health Care.    I'm sure others will have opinions, I only go to Wilkerson for GYN care so far but have at least one friend who has used them for OB care and she was pleased.   Most groups make you rotate through the doctors if you're pregnant because you never know who might be on call when you go into labor.  Most groups have at least one male physician as well.  I'm sure there are other good groups as well.   There may be some closer to you.   Some people like to look at the hospital certain groups are associated with before choosing a doctor especially if children are a possiblity in the future.   Good luck and welcome to the area!
  • Sorry, I somehow missed that you had a little one already.
  • Dr. Teasley does just GYN care I think.

This is true, but then if you do get pregnant again you can see another doctor in the office.  They usually only schedule non pregnant patients with Dr. Teasley

  • Kamm, McKensie there is an office off of Falls of Neuse and one off of Six Forks and 440. Dr. McKensie and Dr. Smith are great!
