Uhg, is anyone else tired of fall tasks? I love the weather this time of year but I hate the long list of To Do's in getting prepared for winter!

Re: fall cleaning
Wash windows!
Cover windows with plastic.
You cover windows with plastic to help insulate against drafts. It doesn't look good but it does really work when done right.
My big fall cleaning task right now is getting all of the dust out of our radiators. They are so nasty and I can't stand the thought of turning on the heat until they are scrubbed clean.
I also need to switch out my clothes for winter. I just got the sweaters and coats down from the attic yesterday.
Well I am not sure where you live...but where I live we can get 30 below temps and 3 to 14 feet of snow...so prepping for winter is a must when the weather is still do able...because I don't like to be outside when it is negative temperatures!
Clear out and organize garage (so both vehicles can fit to avoid snow fall), put away grill, patio furniture from deck, dispose of potted flowers that are dying, final fertilization of the yard and winterizing the lawn mower and grass trimmer, replace any bad weather stripping so no cold air drafts leak into the house, final trim of hedges, pull any weeds I missed in the summer, have furnace checked by professional to ensure efficiency... I could really go on and on...
Yes, all inside cleaning is the same...
Getting all cleaned up and ready for winter is a chore for sure! There is soooo much to be done . . . including getting down the warm blanket s and putting up the summer ones . . same with clothes . . and then there's the "draft checks" and what my mom always did around this time was make every one clean out and organize their room . . so all the extra junk went to good will before winter so there wasn't extra stuff to bed down with . . . There's alot!!
What's worse in my opinion is the beginning of passover . . that cleaning is insane!!! It's three weeks of cleaning every square inch of your house which ends in checking every square inch to make sure it's clean . . . I've gotten used to the traditional search for yachetz (yeast or leaven), and cleaning out everything in preparation is quite the large task!!
