Halloween costume *thoperopes*
Thanks nestie *thoperopes* for letting me know about the Red Queen costume. I tried Goodwill, CL, freecycle, Rack... all over to put together a fun, creative costume. No luck. I took your suggestion and tried Kmart. I didn't even know there was a Kmart in WA. The costume fits really well... odd for a one size fits all. It's the perfect length without heels. I'll probably embellish it with a fancier collar, some gold and red ribbons... and, if I'm lucky, a corset over the top.
My H is going to be the Mad Hatter ...found a funny coat at Goodwill. We'll craft the hat. I think it'll be fun to pick up scarves and fabric and make it elaborate.
We're still trying to talk my 8 year old into being Alice. That part isn't going so well.

....is it the long black gown with red hearts down the center? I agree that the one size fits all is kinda crazy....I'm a big girl and and my pirate costume fit me perfectly, like magic 
LOL sounds like your family will be having fun this Halloween. I hope your daughter agrees to be Alice....Can't wait to see photos
