Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Huge help and a great tool! There is my fav the calorie and exercise tracker and then there are meal plans and a bunch of helpful stuff! Check it out! Oh and it's free! so if you don't like it then whatever!

  • I joined pre-wedding but it confused me so I gave up.  I still get their daily emails and it kinda drives me crazy.  I'll have to log back in and play around with the site.

  • I also used this before our wedding, and I LOVED it! I love seeing my calorie differential on the graphs. There's actually some great recipes on sparkrecipes.com as well that I tried. Now that you mention it, it's probably pay sparkpeople a visit soon.....

  • Deb if you don't like spark people try thedailyplate.com same concept but different site and layout I personally like spark better :-)
  • Hmmm...I've never used sparkpeople.  I've always (and by always I mean off and on for like 3 day spurts before the wedding) used thedailyplate.  Myabe I'll have to check out sparkpeople.  Thanks for the rec.

  • There's also myfitnesspal.com (which I use). Same concept as the other 2. I've just found that there's a lot of foods already listed and thought it was slightly easier than the others (just my opinion). I do like spark people's recipes though.

  • I've used sparkpeople but the hardest part for me is remembering to add in what I eat, or trying to find it from the list. I think I'm going to try it again.
  • i <3 sparkpeople.  in college, when i ACTUALLY followed it (aka wrote down every.little.bite and gave up drinking) for 2 months i lost 12 lbs.

     i am hoping to start really using it again.  i might make a brandy-new account so i can start completely from scratch.  that might help :)

  • I like the concept behind sparkpeople, and it's the best way (IMO) to lose weight, though like anything it requires dedication.  I just really don't like the SP site, and I have yet to find a free site that I like.
