What is your sleep style?

This is what I lay in bed thinking about

Dave and I always fall asleep facing each other, with me curled up in to him and with his arms around me. I have never slept with anyone else like that so I think it's kind of weird, but it's what we do. At some point during the night I flip over so he is spooning me. What do you do?

We each face our respective edge of the bed with our backs to each other. He usually ends up turned over at some point in the night so he's facing me. I can't sleep with his breath in my face.

DH goes to bed a lot earlier than I do, so he normally takes up three quarters of the bed and I have to wedge myself onto the quarter not taken up by him or cats. Romantic, right?

I'm an anti-cuddler. Don't touch me unless we're about to get busy or if I'm cold!!! I almost always sleep on my right side facing out. Or on my back. Adam is an all-over the bed type sleeper. He likes to do the angry kick-punch dancing scene from Footloose in his sleep.

I am fall asleep either on my back or on my side facing the wall. Sometimes I might fall asleep while cuddling, but I always wake up and move over to my side. Both of us toss and turn a lot so cuddling all night could never happen.

hahahahaha.... he really is!!! He hasn't had any sleep walking adventures in a while though.

Well....DH seems to radiate intense body heat, so I get really hot really fast if we try to cuddle for too long. For years, I've done this hilarious thing where I start out on my back and I "do my thoughts" (think about the day, try to remember things I may have forgotten to do that day, think about if I have any meetings the next day, etc). When I'm done with "my thoughts", I roll on my side and go to sleep! I tend to be pretty still in my sleep, but I might roll onto my other side for a while. DH moves around more. The cutest thing is that sometimes in the middle of the night, we'll end up holding hands in our sleep.

Way better than hot/sweaty cuddling.

I'm the intense body heat radiating one in our house. Adam calls my butt his personal heater. When he's cold, he'll cuddle up for like 2 minutes and then can't handle it anymore. My butt is hot. haha

YEAH IT IS!!! HAHAHA!

Similar to what a few others have said, we tend to sleep facing the outside edge. I sleep on my stomach facing right but I will go back and forth all night between that and facing left. (I'm screwed when I get KTFU). Kevin usually sleeps on his left side but always starts out on his back or right side with his hand on my lower back or butt.

Every now and then we will snuggle up for just a bit when going to bed. I usually roll away before I'm asleep because I also am the one with the heat issue. We turn the air down to 70 when we go to bed, my ceiling fan is ALWAYS on and I have a tower fan pointed directly at me on the side of my bed.

I like spooning. When we face each other, our knees hit and we can't get as close. I'm always cold, so I love when we cuddle-sleep. We usually don't stay that way because he gets hot. Apparently, I move a lot in my sleep.

This is so me, which is odd becuase during the day I would love to cuddle, but dont touch me at night. LOL. And my HH is the heat generator during the night!

I'm another for the anti-snuggler team! And I can't stand someone breathing my air so there is no way I could sleep facing Jay. I like to snuggle when we are watching TV or lazing around the house but when it is time to sleep I want my own space. By morning there is usually at least one dog between us, LOL! Besides, I tend to strike out in my sleep and have been known to hit Jay occasionally Embarrassed

I think that is why he doesn't like to cuddle either!

This is pretty much us. We have a huge king size bed, HH sleeps on his side and I sleep in the middle of the bed. If I sleep on my side I feel too far away from him. We both ususally fall asleep facing away from eachother with my feet touching him, but during the night we'll flip over where we're facing eachother. I like to spoon, but HH likes lots of space. This morning I was pleasantly surprised when HH put his arm around me while we were facing eachother. We didn't stay like that long though because my arm fell asleep and I had to move.

I usually sleep on my side on the edge of the bed or on my stomach. DH usually ends up turning the opposite way, but we both seem to turn a lot in our sleep. Lately I've been sleeping on my back with my head between the two pillows, it seems to be a sweet spot. I also heat up a lot in my sleep so spooning or snuggling doesn't last too long unless it's cold.

I sleep better when DH is in the bed, too. I think just knowing he's there makes me happy. And it's warmer. It's boring and sad to be in a huge king bed by yourself!

i am a side sleeper, curled in a ball. i always start out facing out curled in my little sleep ball (covers over my head for maximum darkness, please). chad always curls up spoon-style behind me, but i am the heat generator (even though i am always freezing) so he ends up backing off. but we are spoon sleepers so we end up that way again anyway.
