Residue on Iron... Need Cleaning Help!
While doing some ironing today, I discovered a residue on my iron that looks like a mix between clothing fibers and sticky residue from either the spray starch or something else. Any suggestions on how to clean this off? I really can't iron again until I can get it clean and I would love to not have to buy a new iron. Any help or suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!
Re: Residue on Iron... Need Cleaning Help!
I have heard that if you iron a piece of aluminum foil it helps get the stuff off. Haven't tried it yet though. Hope it works!!
Another idea is by setting your iron to low and running it over a dryer sheet. It should get the gunk off. I just saw that one on the Real Simple website that everyone is raving about!
