weight loss accountability

ok girls, here we go.  day one.

last night i went to the gym for 45 minutes.  ate healthy EXCEPT for the 4 (yes 4!!) pumpkin spice cookies i had throughout the day.

gym again today for 45 minutes.  will still be eating healthy, AND i brought the cookies to work to give to my coworkers so they are not at home tempting me :)

and jesse motivated me to re-signup at sparkpeople.

  • I started using sparkpeople again today too. And since Jessie recommended it, I think I'll pick up a tae bo dvd at Walmart this weekend.

    Yesterday I played soccer, but was totally derailed by a late dinner from Wendy's.

    I'm already off on a bad foot because of the bagels & cream cheese (also mentioned in previous post). And it's only going to get worse because tonight is wii night at a friend's house and it's burgers and french fries for dinner.

    However, I will get the 30 day shred in after work.  Yay for that. And yay for sparkpeople.

  • Attempting better eating today after a stomach virus yesterday (not preggers thankfully like my co-workers kept saying). Little bit of lifting at lunch, then either a swim workout or elliptical at my gym after work. Then on to some yummy gnocchi w/ zucchini for dinner tonight with a salad (as long as my stomach continues to cooperate that is).

  • I will sign up at sparkpeople (seems highly recommended!) tonight after baby-sitting. I cooked salmon, whole grain rice and veggies for supper last night then ruined it with a cookie from the american cookie place with a friend. I'll go walking with the kids around the neighborhood tonight to 1) get some kind of exercise in and 2) wear those little jokers out :)

     I had a fiber one bar for breakfast, will have a salad for lunch and probably a salad for supper tonight too.

  • I haven't officially started anything yet.  Will check out sparkpeople tonight when I get home.  We went to Red Lobster for dinner last night and I ate shrimp until I could puke.  This morning was Starbucks w/ an english muffin sammich, so no bueno for me.  I have leftover Subway for lunch, but it has mayo on it.  Better than a burger, eh.  Baby steps.  If I jump in full throttle, I ultimately fail. 

    No excercise plans in the works as of yet.  Although DH and I rearraged the bedroom last night with lots of vaccuuming and furniture moving. Definitely got a litte hot and sweaty.  My knee has been killing me lately (weather change) and I really need to find low/no impact alternatives to running and aerobics.  I saw a pic of me last night when we were cleaning of when I ran a 10k.  Holy thin me.  I need that kind of motivation...

  • I did pretty well on the eating front yesterday, and I killed it in zumba at lunch.

    Today I have the dentist at noon instead of the gym, so I have to either go to the gym after work or go home and do one of my videos.

    I need to check out sparkpeople.

  • I had to take my fitness test on Saturday and I've not done 1 workout since it.  I need to get motivated soon.  I want to keep on working out so I don't lose momentum.  On a good note, I kicked ass in the fitness test.  I had a bet with a coworker and I won!!!!  I ran my mile and a half in 12:38 and that might not sound earth shaking to those that run, but I'm pretty darn proud of myself.  I was sick for 2 weeks after the honeymoon and couldn't keep anything in my stomach...therefore, I couldn't keep up my running.  Yay!  Now, thank you for the motivation to workout again!!!  I have to run to the post office and then I'm definitely doing a workout!   Keep up the good work, ladies! xxoo

  • I haven't weighed myself since I got back from the HM but I worked out twice last week with the crazy bootcamp/kickboxing lady and I can see that my arms are getting back to wedding day shape already. I went to kickboxing yesterday and I have bootcamp tonight.
  • Finally weighed myself last night and I'm only up 4 lbs.  It seems like more but the scale doesn't lie, right?!?!  Anyhow, no exercise last night but we cleaned up the house, did laundry, and watched a slideshow of wedding pics DH's cousin took.  They were so great and I got all emotional. 

    Tonight is our 1 month so we'll be going to Chevy's.  I will only have two margarita's, a few chips and salsa, and no apps.  Breakfast today consists of a banana and Apple Jacks.  Lunch is a Healthy Choice meal.  I will go on a 20 min walk during my lunch break.
