XP AW I just saved $1700
DH and I REALLY needed a new mattress and I have had my eye on the Tempurpedic Celebrity bed for 5 years!
They JUST started to phase it out so we got $1700 off the original price and bought in NH to save tax!
YAY for a good night sleep!
(Now if I could have talked the Hubz out the $300 pillows

The original price was $4700. So yeah . . .WAY more than I ever would have wanted but the Hubz is SO CUTE when he gives puppy dog eyes.
He really doesn't ask for much either. He spoils the CRAP out of me too.

1) i used to have that bed in college. and then for a year after. and then my parents pulled the "we paid $5G for that bed, we are keeping it! you can have the old one!" so we got stuck with the worlds.worst.mattress. but we just bought a temprapedic foam topper for it, so it helps a little.

My H and I bought a new mattress too, paid about 1/3 of the retail cost for a top of the line Simmons plush/pillowtop and love it! We are both sleeping better with the new mattress; even our cats stay put on the bed if one of us gets in or out of bed.

I used to have a tempurpedic and loooved it (though it did take a little getting used to). Now I have a knock-off version of the memory foam that isn't quite as good. One day when we have a little $$$ saved I'm going to have to look for a good deal on the real thing again.
