Kristen: I have a China & babies question...
Someone posted this on 6-9 and it made me think of you... http://community.thebump.com/cs/ks/forums/thread/44081391.aspx
Do you and DH want more children? When ya'll move there will you wait to have more kids when you come back? If you do get pregnant over there will you come back so you can keep the baby with out paying the fines? Do the laws count if it's an American baby? Wow. I'm getting a little worked up! It just seems so unfair.

Re: Kristen: I have a China & babies question...
Yes, we want more children. We want our children about 3 years apart, so the timing would probably work pretty good for us to get pregnant a few months before moving back here and then have #2 here. I don't think the rules would apply to us anyways since Margot will not be a Chinese citizen and we would be considered expats.
I also know that they now have the following rule:
"Now that millions of sibling-less people in China are now young adults in or nearing their child-bearing years, a special provision allows millions of couples to have two children legally. If a couple is composed of two people without siblings, then they may have two children of their own, thus preventing too dramatic of a population decrease."
It is a very interesting topic!
