Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So I have a friend who I try to see in small doses because I just can't handle her all of the time. I know that sounds means but it's true. After a couple weeks of avoiding her, I hung out with her last night. We met at the mall and I find out she has a bf. Yay for her! After we leave the GAP, she says "Let's go look at e-rings!" They've been together for 2 weeks. Now I know when you KNOW, you KNOW and J popped the question after 6 months of dating but 2 weeks?! I know I'm being really judgemental and forgive me, hate me, or help me understand this. And she has her entire wedding planned in a 10 page Word document. (She has had that for years, apparently.)
I was completely supportive in anyway possible last night and maybe she's just excited to have the talk with a guy and all.
This was pointless and I apologize for ranting so early in the morning. Forgive me.

Two weeks??? That seems a little much to me. Honestly I would have told her she was nuts regardless of when you got engaged or married.
Yes, I had a friend like that but for other reasons we are no longer friends. She would say she was going to marry every guy she looked at practically. It drove me nuts. Some people are just like that - I don't know why.
I think you need another break. Ha!
i have friends like that too. don't worry. you love them, but yeesh, small doses only!
and yes, she sounds a little crazy for wanting to look at engagement rings already AND for having that document. she is literally setting her self up to fail and be disappointed.
