I know I'm late, but WTF Don Draper?!
The season finale was so...odd! So his secretary doesn't freak out when the kids spill a milkshake, and that makes her wifey material?

Ready to rumble.
Re: I know I'm late, but WTF Don Draper?!
She's the anti-Betty and that's all that matters I guess. I really didn't get the build up to that.
Oh, and so not a shocker that Joan kept the baby.
Did anyone else think of "The Help" when Betty fired the nanny?

I've never seen an episode of Mad Men. Last night, DH and I got into a little fight...and I needed to get out for a little, so I went to my mom's. She had just started the season finale, so I just watched.
The whole time he proposed she just kept saying "This HAS to be a dream! This is a dream. This MUST be a dream!" It was pretty hilarious.
She kept trying to give me a brief synopsis to explain what was going on. I think I pretty much ruined her experience. However, now I have a burning desire to watch from the beginning.
I think Faye freaked him out when she suggested he maybe try to reconcile his past with his present and he decided to just blindly move forward.
But, like Henry told Betty, there are no fresh starts!
I thought there were a few people here who were convinced Joan had the abortion? COME OUT COME OUT WHEREVER YOU ARE!

I was both unsurprised and disappointed by the proposal. I wonder if next season will start with them already married. I also wonder if Henry and Betty will still be together next season.
Also, when Creepy Glen went to say goodbye to Sally in her room, I was like, "NOOOO! He's going to molest her!" Thankfully I was totally wrong.
Someone on ew.com was speculating that Sally was goign to commit suicide. WTF? Who thinks that?!
I knew he'd never marry Faye, not after he told her about his past. I loved Peggy and Joan giggling over the whole thing.
I bet her FUPA's name is Shane, like the gunslinger/drifter of literature.--HappyTummy
I KNOW. Everything about that kid exudes creepiness. He's Matthew Weiner's son, too, which for some reason adds to it for me.
I felt so badly for Carla, though. I have never wanted to punch Betty in the face so badly.

That was my favorite scene.

I loved this too! That and the "no one's on your side, Betty."
I kept saying this to my husband. I was sure any minute one of them would wake up but then it just kept going....
It was me moo! I finally watched it tonight, I'm glad she didn't. I thought it was going to be the basis for some future big conflict with Roger, but her having the baby can also do that.
I also loved the scene with Petty and Joan. I think that's the first time they've ever really gotten along.
