Gross (post contains blood)
So I had gotten a blood blister underneath my fingernail about a month or so ago. A spot in my fingernail turned black from it and then eventually turned white. Well, my nail has grown out to where the blood blister was right underneath my fingernail at the nail bed. It looked like gross dried up blood so I just used one of those manicure set things to try to clean out underneath it. Apparently, it wasn't all the way dried up because now my nail is bleeding like crazy and it won't stop. People keep walking past my office looking at me all crazy because I'm holding this paper towel with blood all over it trying to get my nail to stop bleeding. I've had one of the supervisors ask me already if I need to go to the ER (haha, very funny). So now my fingernail looks worse than it did before. Yay.

Weird. You know, when we had goats, we had to keep this stuff called blood-stop powder around for when we trimmed their horns (the younger goat's horns hadn't been properly cauterized when she was a baby, so it had to be done occasionally). It saved our big horse's life one time when he split his neck open and could have bled to death. Maybe you should get a small bottle to keep in your purse.

Yeah, we have some of that stuff in case we cut too much of our dogs nails off and they start bleeding really bad.
Stu - just hold your hand above your head for a while and it should help. Plus you'll look really cool doing it!
