Last night I cooked some spaghetti for dinner and then caught up on my DVR'd shows.
Tonight I'm going to get a mani and pedi then home to hang out.
QOTD: I like curling up in bed with some hot chocolate watching movies.
Last night was good, basically just cooked dinner and relaxed. I had a lazy morning (can you tell I am having a hard time getting back in gear?) and now am off to work. Tonight I hope to get a little bit done at least around the house. I just keep waking up exhausted for no obvious reason besides previous lack of sleep.
I love to curl up in a blanket and read. Bonus points if coffee or seasonal tea are next to me.
Last night was Isabel's dance class than home for grilled cheese (kids) and baked potatoes (me) for dinner. Than just hanging out with the kids.
today I'm hoping to get some laundry done and kitchen clean up and if I get that done I'm going to reward myself and bake something. I'm thinking to celebrate this fall weather maybe some pumpkin whoopie pies.
I've been cleaning a lot and doing some baking- and DH and I made a dog house for our dogs (it got finished yesterday- just in time for the rain!!).
Today I'll be baking shortbread cookies so I can decorate them for a bridal shower. And I found an awesome pumpkin shortbread recipe I might make too
AND cleaning my garage tonight- fun right??
On days like today I love to curl up with a blanket by the fire with hot apple cider or hot cocoa (or hot toddy's depending on the day, lol)... and baking yummy goodies.
I got home early enough last night to spend some time with DH and DSD. I had made a nice big pot of chicken veggie soup so I sat and snuggled up and had a cup of soup and watched my shows.
QOTD- I love to bake when it is rainy day and just snuggle up with a good book.
which by the way I need a rec for a good book. I am not reading anything right now. any suggestions?

Tonight, H will be working all night (thank you crazy weather) so I will just hang out and relax. Left over pasta for dinner tonight, TV with the pups, etc.
My favorite rainy day activity would either have to be baking or curled up on the couch with a blankie and book. TOTALLY what I would have wanted to so this morning when all Hell was breaking loose!

I really enjoyed The Help. I found it at Target for like $12. It is about 450 pages but I really liked the story. I haven't started anything new since- I've been lazy, lol!
